Pour moi, Breakout fut une véritable révélation, un électrochoc puissant. J'ai appris à cette période, non sans une certaine honte, que pour créer un hit il n'était pas utile de courir après le réalisme ou les graphismes. L'important, c'était surtout de trouver un concept amusant et de placer le gameplay au centre de tout.
